About the Breed
A Weimaraner is not just a beautiful dog.
At first glance, you may notice its elegant appearance, silver coat, and noble posture. However, we believe it is important to explain what lies beneath this beautiful exterior.
The Weimaraner is intelligent, sensitive, spirited, and deeply attached to its person. It needs to be part of the family, it needs contact, purpose, and a person who is willing to communicate and work together with it.
This is not a breed that will be happy with just a short walk around the block. 🐾
A person should not be interested only in its appearance. They should also be interested in its energy, sensitivity, strong-willed nature, and its need to be close to you. They should also understand all the work and commitment that sharing your life with a Weimaraner requires.
A Weimaraner must be guided with respect while also being given the space to develop its abilities. It is neither a decoration nor a tool. It is an individual personality and a partner for many years to come.
What You Need to Know
It is a dog that will test you. Mentally. Sometimes physically, too. And on a personal level.
When the moment comes when you truly understand the way your Weimaraner thinks, its character, and its vulnerability, a connection will form between you that cannot be put into words. It is a love that lasts a lifetime.

LIFE and LIVING TOGETHER
Yes. A Weimaraner needs exercise. But when we talk about exercise, we don’t mean simply having access to a garden or going for a short walk on a leash. Most importantly, a Weimaraner needs to engage its mind. Physical exercise alone is not enough — they are capable of handling a great deal. They need to be mentally challenged and given opportunities to use their natural abilities. They need to sniff, explore the world, and, in short, do the things they were bred to do.
If you give your Weimaraner these opportunities, it becomes an irreplaceable companion, both outdoors and at home.
And once its needs are met, it is perfectly capable of relaxing and enjoying quality rest — ideally in the company of its person, but also on its own, in its own place where it feels safe and secure.
Stále ale platí, že záleží od jedinca. Dorotka dokáže prespať a oddychovať doma celý deň bez vyžadovania si pozornosti a aktivity.
No keď je vonku, temperament a energia sa prejaví.
