All-round exams (CACT)

I. price, 436 points

I probably address my words of gratitude to Dorotka. Without her, we wouldn't be here.

Secondly, I probably also owe it to myself. For where I brought her...where she brought me.

Where we are was not a plan at all... and now we are at the all-around trials, successfully passing discipline after discipline, with cramps in our stomachs and with the goal of "just finishing it".

We finished.. albeit with a few mistakes, which we can usually do without, both hers and mine. But we managed our first memorial VSS in beautiful 𝐈. 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞, with a score of 436 and we placed in a nice 6th place out of 24 dogs.

We learn from each other…

… After all that training and hard work without excuses, the time has come when we too can add that beautiful, well-deserved letter “𝐔” to our name, and I can proudly say that we have made it to the all-rounders and my “little” Dorotka is a versatile hunting dog.

We competed for the first time in an international field-and-water trial organized by the KCHWS. 12 dogs started and 7 finished, though none achieved a first-prize rating. We faced high-quality yet challenging terrain and a lack of wind; nevertheless, the results are as follows:

The best show dog of Slovak weimaraners club 2025

21.03.25, we had the honor of receiving an award presented by the Slovak Weimaraner Club in the competition for Best Show Dog 2025, with a total of 267 points 🏆
This year, Dorotka and I attended numerous shows abroad.
– in Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, as well as in Slovakia. During 2025, she earned 5 champion titles and started 2 more. Nothing came easily, and I can modestly say that in every country she achieved beautiful titles along with excellent judges’ critiques.
Besides the shows, we of course did not neglect hunting training and we conducted 4 trials together, also with nice placements. We believe that next year will bring us success, whether working or showing, and we are already looking forward to what Dorotka can do.
